Marilyn Sola Tavarez

I am Marilyn Sola Tavarez, a Business Administration graduate from Iona College, with over 10 years of experience as an educator. Throughout my career, I have achieved remarkable success in various roles.

As the Director of Saint Anselm’s School Extended Care Program, I have been responsible for overseeing the program’s operations, developing policies, managing staff, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care. Under my leadership, the program has expanded its offerings and improved its quality, receiving praise from parents and administrators alike.

In my role as a Lead Guide for the Bronx Children’s Museum, I had the opportunity to inspire and educate children in the STEAM fields through hands-on arts and science experiences. Through my guidance, children gained valuable knowledge and skills while discovering their creativity and curiosity.

Currently, I serve as a Senior Motor Vehicle License Examiner at New York State’s Department of Motor Vehicle, where I ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures related to driver licenses and driving schools. With my attention to detail and commitment to excellence, I have helped improve efficiency and customer satisfaction in my department.

Overall, I am proud of my achievements and grateful for the opportunities to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
